Team Canada swept — SWEPT!! — the Dominican Republic last night, putting them into today’s final match against Cuba at the NORCECA Women’s Continental Olympic Qualification Championship in Monterrey, Mexico. Scores were 26-24, 25-17, 25-19.

Team Canada easily swept their quarterfinal match against Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-14) last night to cruise into the semifinals of the NORCECA Women’s Continental Olympic Qualification Championship in Monterrey, Mexico.
Team Canada Beats Puerto Rico in Nailbiter
Can I just have a WOOT! WOOT! Because last night, Team Canada beat Puerto Rico in an upset, 3-2 (5-22, 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 16-14) to go to 1-1 at the NORCECA Women’s Continental Olympic Qualification Championship in Monterrey, Mexico.
